Garden of The Glades: A Week at Conservation Ranger Camp

Fish, frogs, fire, and friendships! In a first-of-its-kind summer camp hosted by the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, twelve high school students embark on an adventure to test their limits and deepen their connection with nature. Through hands-on career activities and shared challenges, they discover their potential and resilience. The full film is available to view for free on YouTube and PBS.

The Biologist - Tales of Sunshine: Florida EcoStories (2022)

In this episode, Conservation Biologist Ian Biazzo trudges through Florida ephemeral wetlands in search of wild tree frogs. Biazzo has always wanted to study animals, but recent events have led him to be more critical of the scientific community. In this episode, Professional Mermaid Michelle Colson glides through crystal clear water identifying Florida's abundant natural springs. CURRENTLee is a completely student-produced news magazine show focusing on the unique people and events in the Lee County School District. This episode, we're at Estero High School showcasing some great stories around the District. In 2014, CURRENTLee was awarded Best Student Produced Newscast by the Suncoast National Academy of Television, Arts and Science for the third consecutive year. This was one of seven (7) Awards for Excellence (student Emmy’s) presented to the students who produce CURRENTLee as well as other programming for the Lee County School District Channel.
